ABOUT BBVC
The Better Beginnings Veterinary Clinic (BBVC) was established to provide affordable spay and neuter services while ensuring consistent, high-quality medical care for every kitten in our rescue's program.
By having a dedicated clinic, BBVC is able to provide timely and effective treatment for rescue kittens without the scheduling limitations often associated with external veterinary partners. This allows our team to respond quickly to medical needs, maintain continuity of care throughout each kitten's journey, and ensure every animal receives the attention and treatment they deserve.
Through BBVC, we are able to support both our rescue operations and the broader community by increasing access to essential veterinary services, promoting responsible pet ownership, and helping reduce pet overpopulation through accessible spay and neuter programs.
MISSION
In 2026, Better Beginnings Veterinary Clinic (BBVC) aims to expand its impact by partnering with animal rescues throughout the Okanagan, bringing mobile veterinary services directly to the communities that need them most. Through these partnerships, we will continue to provide accessible, affordable spay and neuter services while helping rescues access essential veterinary care for the animals in their programs.
We recognize that the cost of veterinary care can place a significant financial burden on rescue organizations and caregivers. BBVC was created to help reduce those barriers by offering low-cost services and collaborative support to our rescue partners. At the same time, we strive to educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering as a key tool in improving animal welfare, preventing unwanted litters, and reducing pet overpopulation within our communities.
Our mission is simple: to make quality veterinary care more accessible, support the lifesaving work of animal rescues, and create a better future for companion animals through prevention, education, and compassionate care.
